In fact, numerous individuals are getting absorbed to the virtual world. Some are very into using their computer as a mean of playing games, which is very enticing that the users are able to play for a whole day. It can be seen as somewhat fun but overall, it will mean using the whole day to be unproductive with playing games all day. But it doesn’t revolve solely on games, surfing the internet or socializing with other people online is a very easy way of entertaining yourself and some people are being labeled as “Computer Addicts” because using the computer is starting to become a part of their daily routine.
The problem is that they spend too much for about more than 3 hours on a daily basis that can be critical when you don t have the luxury to waste time. Rationale: The chief objective Of this research is to make the unaware people to be vigilant of their situation wherein they are unknowingly becoming computer addicts which can lead to a man neglecting other important facets of his life such as eating, exercising, and appreciating the world around us. Also, this study is to purposely lessen the addiction of people on computers, prevent people from becoming computer addicts and avoid harmful effects on their lath.
Population and Sample: We have conducted the survey regarding Computer Addiction within the four walls of the CBS campus having exactly 1 60 respondents. It was randomly surveyed throughout the campus to not be biased of the results. We divided them by gender and age to easily identity#y’ the statistical data that we had from the survey questionnaires. It can possibly determine if the respondent is already a computer addict or if the respondent is being made to be aware of the issue.
Statement of the Problems/Research Questions: The main aim of this statistical research is to determine if CBS students are onto computer addiction. Concretely, it will test to find answers to the following questions and statements: 1 . The proportion of the respondent’s awareness to the term “Computer Addiction” 2. Do the selected CBS Students own a computer or laptop at home? 3. What is the proportion of respondents’ get a feeling of excitement whenever they use a computer? 4.
Whether the respondents’ spend more than 3 hours a day using their computers 5. Whether the respondents’ are easily irritated whenever they don’t get to use their computers 6. Whether the respondents’ have skipped classes in the past just so they can use their computers.
