HP EliteBook x360 1020 released in 2017 is a perfect device
for consumers looking for a laptop that can also double as a tablet. This is
apparently one of the company’s cheapest convertible notebook targeted at
businesses, but quite expensive. The notebook comes in five different models
which is available on HP website. It’s inarguably faster and thinner than the
1020 G1, the battery is also impressive. HP did a wonderful job when it comes
to the battery life of this device.

Design

durability. HP Elitebook x360 1020 is actually conventionally designed, with it
good looks, it is quite durable and versatile to suit your lifestyle. At 13.9mm
thickness and weighing 2.5 lbs, HP Elitebook x360 1020 is not heavy or
unwieldy, it is a perfect fit for your mobile lifestyle. It is extremely
durable and perfect for office use because of it’s featherweight, which can be
used as traditional laptop with occasional tablet usage. It can also be used at
an arm length.

 

The notebook comes with ultra bright (700-nit display)
12.5″ screen with options for a privacy screen or an FHD non-touch or UHD
touch panel. The screen comes with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top of
the 12.5 inch Full HD panel, making is more conveniently bright in an office
environment, with beautiful bright colors and a good contrast. The screen is
crystal clear and crisp for any environment, the brightness can light up a
room. It’s definitely perfect for enterprise usage.

The notebook comes in 5 screen modes for modern-day
versatility, which includes —Tent mode to present, Laptop mode to multi-task,
Media mode to watch, Tablet mode to write and also the Conference mode to

choices up to a 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor. The five models
available on HP’s website come with the slower Core i5-7200U or the faster
7600U processor. The HP EliteBook x360 1020 models are also available with
memory of 8 GB RAM and a 128 GB SSD which is the lowest and 16GB of RAM and a
512GB SSD which is the highest. With the aims to excel in both business and
multimedia, the notebook comes with 5 built-in premium stereo speakers tuned
with audio by Bang & Olufsen with Digital dual-array microphone.

 

The notebook comes installed with Windows 10 Pro, it is also
comes with a fast charge battery that last up to 15 hours – 30 mins of battery
life with an optional U Series processor. This is a fantastic battery life,
this has got to be the best so far. The battery is really impressive,
considering the fact that it’s an Intel Core i7 processor which gave the
EliteBook a great performance boost, but certainly didn’t hurt battery life.

 

With it’s HP Phonewise, you can easily respond to calls and
texts through your PC. It comes with 720p HD webcam, IR camera for face
authentication which is quite impressive, the keyboard comes in full size, with
a backlit which is one of the best in it’s size category for typist who maybe
impressed with typical soft keyboard keys. The keyboard also comes with HP
Premium Collaboration Keyboard which can be used to manage calls quickly.

 

EliteBook x360 is built to be more universally useful as a
business laptop should be, more so if you’re a websurfer or social media
addict, this is probably the best computer you need. On the device you’ll find
a microSD card slot, 2 USB Type-C connector, a full-size HDMI connector, a
full-size USB port and the proprietary power connector. It also come with a
