PROJECT DISCRIPTION & JUSTIFICATION

Travel technology
(also called tourism technology & hospitality automation) is the
application of information technology (IT). It also falls as categorization of
information and communication technology (ICT) in the travel, tourism &
hospitality industry.

Since travel
implies locomotion, travel technology automation was originally associated with
the computer reservation system (CRS) which covers the airline industry, but
now is used more inclusively, incorporating the broader tourism sector mainly
covering the ground transports. This becomes the subset or backbone of this
industry. While travel, technology includes the computer reservation system
(CRS) or booking systems offered to customers, it’s also represents a much
broader range of application, infect increasingly so. Travel technology of
ground transport includes the multiple products to be offered to the end
customer identifying the type of customer (i.e. business/ pleasure or regular
visitor). Whatever the identification recognized by the system. Travel
technology includes virtual tourism in the form of virtual tour technologies. E
tourism can be defined as the analysis, design and application of IT &
e-commerce solutions in the travel & tourism industry. It also covers the
economic processes and market structures and customer relationship management.

Travel technology
product is increasingly being used to describe systems for managing and
monitoring travel, including travel tracking and flight
tracking systems.           

PROJECT SCOPE

In the current scope
of project there are three major offices around the globe are getting involved
to design, develop & implement the centralized dispatching system from.
Currently every individual IT company had their own booking system along with
their brand promises. All three offices are integrated and working in same
business domain of IT travel industry. The scope of the project is to identify
the core requirements and set the objectives by understanding the current
crisis and there desired targets to get targeted. In order to do so appropriate
mandate of all three parties needs to be elaborated.

The whole objective
will be completed by defining centralized integration system which will
overcome all the requirements of all three parties and their potential business
to entertain the B2C model overall.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

The Basic objective
in this project is in cooperate the fulfillment system integration among
following three major stake holder

(Sweden)

 

The centralized integrated dispatch system
needs to be developed and deployed which will execute these all major
stakeholders entities operation and stream lined there relevant processes
systematically and in automated way.

Current challenges

Currently
all three systems are operating standalone systems

·        
Dispatch
system is integrated with independent system, where intimation about bookings
and their relevant assignment dispatches.

·        
Due to
desynchronization among the systems, lots of bad will of MYCAB brans and its
integrated partners are facing in the Market.

·        
Rise in
no shows and improper calculation in cancelation also lead to loss in financial
flow.

Addressing
the system to get integrated systematically.

Automate
the all possible flows covering the pre-defined checks of the fulfillment
process. As a brand promise of MYCAB for being a lead in ground transport.

clear calculation leads to remove financial crises accordingly.

 

PROJECT DESIGN

In first phase all
three offices should get reconciled on the identified crises and there desired
targets and proceed towards the agreement to kick up the project.

and it ground transport requirements along with proposed idea of implementation
with respect to the predefined ground operations.

Technologies (Pakistan) will be responsible to provide the suitable software
solution which will address all the operational scenarios and automate the
integration with dispatch system and in linked system as well.

IVCARDO
(Spain) will be responsible for merging the integration as per guided by
Netrevelation technologies and take care of further processing till to
fulfillment in order to seamless execution till the USER end . B2C (Model)

 

Lead

technologies (Lahore) office will take a lead in making the final decision in
different phase of integrations accordingly.

(Sweden)/ IVCARDO (SPAIN) are bound to follow toll there all said exceptional
business case scenarios of B2C model get covered and maturely automated in the
desired process flow.

STAKEHOLDER ANALYSIS

Stakeholder analysis is critical to the success of
every project in every organization. Stakeholders include individuals,
community leaders, groups and other public or private sector organizations who
will be impacted by the project/product, or who could influence the outcome.
They can be internal or external.

The 3 major stakeholders of this project are

Keeping in mind the scope and nature of project,
after brainstorming, we have further analyzed the stakeholders against our
major stakeholders.

managing the whole project and all three above stated stakeholders.

Project Coordinators, for status
reporting between all three main stakeholders and Project Manager and getting
business requirements on time to time or need bases.

Accounts & Finance Department
responsible for all finance related activities

A Development Department with sound
and skilled developers who will be responsible for developing the whole
project.

5.     
A Quality Assurance Department to
check whether the scope of project has met or not, assure quality standards, to
verify whether the project is functional enough to be deployed at client side.

A Business Analyst Department to
gather business requirements, for developers and QAs to build and test the
project against scope, from Project Managers and Coordinators.

7.     
IT Department to get and maintain
the required servers and equipment during the whole project life cycle.
