Controlled experiment
thr person conductiing the experiment only changes one variable at a time
Control group
the group in an experiment that does not receive treatment by the researchers and then used as a benchmark to measure how the other tested subjects do
Experimental group
a group in an experiment that receives the variable that is being tested.
Independant variable
a variable whose variation does not dependon that of another
Dependant variable
is what you measure in the experiment and what is affected during the experiment

a type of map vharacterized by large scale detail and usually using contour lines.
