We all get annoyed by the ads popping up on the sites on licking or when you are reading a particular content. Some of these ads are so below the standards and sometimes cause embarrassment. Sometimes it really gets hard for us to even read an article. Google chrome native ad-blocking feature will stop the appearance of such ads effective from 15 February 2018.Although ads are the biggest revenue source for google yet it has decided to turn on the native ad-blocker in google chrome from February 15.Google has joined a coalition with a group that publishes quality standards for display ads on the web in 2017. It has banned full page ads, ads that plays sound, flashing ads. Turning on this native ad- block wont stop all the ads from appearing but those that are overly annoying and intrusive. It will be blocking all ads from sites where even one ad displayed on the site doesn’t meet the aforementioned standards, even if the rest are technically in compliance.Turning on this feature will cut off the use of third party ad blockers.Google will also provide a way for websites affected by Chrome’s ad blocker to correct their violations.The native ad blocker will be integrated into desktop and mobile versions of the Chrome browser to block popup advertisement, auto-playing video ads with sounds and other annoying ad formats by default.shown below is the screenshot of chrome dev build of Android. we can see a new option of “Ad” in the setting section.To view this option do to setting–>site setting–>Ad.This feature can be found on both Dev and Canary build.
